Song of the Day: Little Boots - Better In The Morning

As always, new music from Little Boots is great news. Better in the Morning, taken from the upcoming album Working Girl (due July 10th) sounds like a great summer track. It’s playful and has wonderfully nostalgic production whilst hinting at a different side to the album than what we’d already heard on the Business Pleasure EP (3 of the 4 tracks of which will also be included on the new album).

Better In The Morning isn’t Boots’ best work but it’s certainly not a bad start for Working Girl. Roll on July 10th ^_^

Kanye’s most ridiculous Power 105.1FM Breakfast Club quotes

The rapper returned to New York radio station Power 105.1FM on Friday morning, for an hour-long chat. We listened to the whole thing, so you don’t have to, and collated some of the stand-out quotes.

In summary: he dissed Amber Rose, said Beck’s Grammy-winning album was actually “kinda good”, and said his upcoming album was 80% done.

See it on the music blog.
